Designed to feel like listening to the golden days of radio being played at a local block party, the Rockwell Rebel Radio series focuses on collaboration, with tons of dope features throughout the album. With his most trusted long time collaborator, Chill Smith, Chris Rockwell set out to take the original album up a few notches, and the results are plain to see; Rockwell Rebel Radio II sets a higher bar while ushering a new era under Soundsmith Records.

My journey in music began over 10 years ago with nothing more than a Pro Tools 7 LE setup and a one-channel M-Box. From there, I built my skills and my space, slowly transforming my home studio into what is now Chillville Studio—a hand-built, 12x16-foot shed that’s become the heart of my creative process.
As an audio engineer, rapper, and producer, I’ve learned that the best music often comes from humble beginnings. Soundsmith Records was born from my passion to help artists find their authentic sound, to create without limits, and to build something real from the ground up. Whether I’m in the booth, behind the board, or guiding an artist through their process, my mission is simple: make music that resonates. Welcome to the journey.
